Chocolate Body Butter

As much as I love all beauty products - it doesn't matter which kind, i'm not fussy - I love chocolate more. My wonderful brother who is only wonderful on days that don't end in Y bought me this lovely Chocomania body butter from The Body Shop. So obviously, he knew that I was going to love these products.

It was a special edition range and I got given a shower gel and a soap too, but i've used both of them. I've finally got around to using this body butter because it's a very dry and cold winter here this year so my skin needs all the help it can get, and oh my god does it smell good! It's not a sickly chocolate, it's sweet. But then it's not disgustingly sweet like the strawberry flavour The Body Shop uses - has anyone actually ever bought that one? Honestly, the strawberry flavoured products make me want to retch. What's great about this is that the smell isn't too overpowering. I find it good for winter when you don't want that citrus-y sunshine and rainbows smell.

This is thick in consistency, like all their body butters are, so I find it brilliant during cold winters when your skin gets really dry. It's wonderful for dry feet or knees and elbows. Plus, The Body Shop products are natural too and some of their proceeds go to local communities where they derive their ingredients from. The only thing I don't like about The Body Shop is that they're owned by the same people that own Loreal here in NZ, and though they themselves don't test on animals, Loreal does so their profits are going back into the large mixing pot and contributing to harming animals. That's my only quell with them. Other than that, I love and adore so many body shop products. This is another to add to my list of favourites; I love their highlighting concealer, and their Shea butter range, as well as the sweet lemon range (which I think they've gone out of here). They're all amazing!

L'Occitane Toner

One of my best friend's works for L'Occitane (pronounced Lox-e-tarn). She has slowly been getting me to try loads of products, like just the other week she gave me a serum sample. We were in the other day purchasing some things for her sister's birthday - she's coming over from Australia to spend time with my friend - and my friend was busy yarning away about how good certain products were. I needed a new toner anyway, so I thought why not try this one!

This product is from their Angelica range. It just makes me think of Angelica from the Rugrats to be honest. It's far better than that annoying little girl. Far better.

L'Occitane is a natural range, so this is alcohol free. Which as you should have guessed by now, I adore all things natural. I've only used this a couple of times, but I already adore it. It smells refreshing, it's not overpowering. I simply use a cotton ball or pad and wipe it all over my face and neck. (Don't forget your neck!)

You can buy L'Occitane from Feelunique here too.

I didn't realise, but their handcream is one of the topsellers in the world. One is sold ever three seconds! Can you imagine that?! That's insane.
